Visit by students from the University of Toronto

Students from the Trudeau Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, which is based at the University of Toronto in Canada visited GPoT Center on April 26, 2010.

The class of fifteen students accompanied by their professor came to Turkey for an educational and research trip. Retired Ambassador and member of GPoT High Advisory Board, Mr. Yalim Eralp gave them a lecture on Turkish domestic policy with special reference to Kurdish question. His speech was followed by a presentation on Kurdish problem prepared by Gizel Alpakgir, a graduate student majoring in international relations at Istanbul Kultur University. The students from the University of Toronto were able to discuss their views on this topic with both speakers.
